Visitors to Sleepy Hollow and local residents will have a chance to sample the remarkable variety of the Village’s diverse community and its rich tradition of culinary, musical and artistic talent. That variety will be on display during “A Taste of Sleepy Hollow,” scheduled from noon to 6:00pm on Saturday, October 22, on Valley Street. Culinary delights including Chilean, Peruvian, Ecuadorian, and Greek specialties will be available. Musical performances include traditional music from the Dominican Republic, Greece, Colombia, Spain, and Chile. The event also offers opportunities to view and purchase works from local artists, while there are children’s activities from face painting to bouncy castles. A Taste of Sleepy Hollow is sponsored by The Sleepy Hollow Local Development Corporation (SHLDC) and is co-organized by The Greater Sleepy Hollow Tarrytown Chamber of Commerce and Encuentro NYC.
Among the featured artists is Pablo Mayor’s Folklore Urbano “El Barrio Project.”
