By Annabelle Allen— Sleepy Hollow officials and residents gathered Saturday to salute World War II veteran Armando “Chick” Galella on his 100th birthday. The village celebrated Galella with a motorcade and the groundbreaking for a statue dedicated to Gold Star Mothers, the mothers of children who have died while serving the U.S military.
