Esperanza “Pat” Paxinos, loving wife, mother and grandmother, died September 7. She was 87. She was born to parents Zoilo and Dorotea Miguel (née Ablan) on March 28, 1933 in the city of Puerto Princesa, Palawan in the Philippines. She immigrated to the United States as a young woman to pursue a profession in nursing. She settled in Irvington with her husband Nestor in 1975 where they raised two children.
