A Riverview Avenue resident, Luis Pina-Perez, 36, was arrested on Wednesday, September 8 for attempting to sell fake automobile inspection stickers to men who turned out to be undercover Westchester County Police officers. Police acted on a confidential tip from a citizen who noticed an offer to sell the bogus stickers on a local Facebook Marketplace page. An undercover detective responded to the offer and agreed to pay $240 for two stickers. The subsequent sting went down on Wildey Street. [...]
